National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO) Program

The NDCO program is a federal it funded program that targets the barriers that people with a disability face in gaining access to, and successfully completing, post-school education and training.

The goals of the NDCO program are:

  • Improve transitions to help people with a disability from school or community into post-school education and training and subsequent employment.

  • Increase participation by people with a disability in higher education, vocational education and training and employment.

  • Establish better links between schools, universities, TAFEs, training providers and disability service providers so that they can work together to provide the best possible assistance for people with a disability.

For more information regarding the NDCO program click here

Funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) under the National Disability Coordination Officer Programme.

If you have any enquiries regarding the NDCO program in the North Sydney and Central Coast Region, please e-mail Timothy. Also if you are a student with a disability or a parent/carer meeting information on postsecondary education and employment please do not hesitate to contact Timothy.

The Australian Adapted Technology User Group (AATUG)
Adapted technology has become an integral part of life for most people with disabilities.  For students with disabilities in particular, adapted technology is a way of providing them with a more equitable learning experience.  AATUG has been set up in response, to help students with disabilities as well as the staff that assist them, to more fully access and utilise adapted technologies.
